At the end of this week, RoundCon will again grace the city of Columbia. As usual, I'll be there with some games. Three of these are connected thematically by music and time travel – I'm calling them "Notes from the Future" – and my last session is Indie Games on Demand. My schedule looks like this:
| Time Slot | Session Title | System | Location | | Friday, 2:00 PM | Notes from the Future - One Song | Sideload: A Cyberpunk Story* | Table 2 | | Friday, 8:00 PM | Notes from the Future - Evident | Apocalypse World | Table 3 | | Saturday, 2:00 PM | Notes from the Future - Sing | Misspent Youth | Table 3 | | Saturday, 7:30 PM | Indie Games on Demand | Oh so many | Table 3 |
* Something new I made.
Come help celebrate RoundCon's 25th anniversary. See you there? |

I've got a shiny new page dedicated to what's I'm running at this year's GenCon: an encore of Arnold's and my first saga ever, Steam City Saga. Much as Arnold did for Cave of Wanders, I've collected all the games' descriptions and added some commentary, which is sure to enrage readers who enjoy brevity and/or clarity. For those who've arrived via the GenCon registration site, this is where you'll find anything you want to know about the saga and surely far more. |

Elizabeth Shoemaker is sponsoring the excellent Sight for Sore Eyes Benefit Bundle to benefit her friend Karla. For the unhardship of $10, you can make a difference to a groovy someone and score some sweet games in the process. What's stopping you, o six-or-so people who read this site? |

The hits keep coming. It's only a few short weeks before RoundCon 2011 (its 25th anniversary!), and Arnold and I are ready with a new SuperSaga. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this one goes; we've learned a lot about saga gaming in the past few years and we're putting it to use with this one. More details will be coming as RoundCon approaches, but right now we're set to run it in five sessions. Arnold starts it off with My Life With Master, I follow with Growth Spurt, Unending River, and Ingenuous, and Arnold will take it home with Misspent Youth. Oh man. |

My first convention of 2011 is the inaugural SCARAB. I'm teamed up with Maggie for a little saga we're calling Hour Follows Hour. In less than two hours (!), I'll run the first chapter using Ingenuous; later tonight, I've got a Growth Spurt game concurrent with Maggie running Little Fears. Tomorrow the saga continues with Unending River (me) and Geiger Counter (Maggie), and it finishes with Misspent Youth (Maggie) on Sunday. I'm also running an unrelated Little Fears game Saturday night. Come see South Carolina's newest gaming convention take its first steps. |

Regret Games goes to the midwest! Arnold's running Kagematsu in the Hyatt Theory room as I type this, and the rest of our games in the Cave of Wanders saga are soon to follow.
I'll be checking my email periodically throughout the convention (thank you, Indiana Public Wireless), so if you've got a question or want to meet up, shoot me a note. See you around the con! |
